Position Paper on Abortion

Malta's law, which prohibits abortion in all circumstances, is a hazard to women's health and puts women's lives at unnecessary risk.
​
Malta's total ban on abortion is also contrary to what is globally recognised as good medical practice, including by the World Health Organisation, the United Nations, and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
